Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Circuits

Find a variety of exercise circuits suitable for cardiac rehabilitation below covering:

-seated
-seated/standing
-standing, moderate-Low Volume High Intensity Interval Training (LVHIIT) circuits.

Before completing any of these exercise circuits please watch this video and be sure that you are fit for exercise and that your condition is stable.

Standing 45 (Including warm-up/cool-down sequences)

These 45 minute circuits are a nice standing introduction into a structured home exercise interval circuit that introduces key cardio movements and active recovery motions you can expect to see in either face to face or home cardiac rehab exercise classes. All exercise should be completed to a "conversational" pace targeting an RPE 11-14 OR Heart Rate response between 60-80% of your Heart Rate Max (if you have established training zones - not everyone will..)

Standing 50+(Including warm-up/cool-down sequences)

These 50+  minute circuits are a step up in demand allowing slightly more moderate exertion within your structured circuit. Still following a 1:1 ratio of cardio versus active recovery but each movement a little longer throughout. A subtle but meaningful change. All exercise should be completed to a "conversational" pace targeting an RPE 11-14 OR Heart Rate response between 60-80% of your Heart Rate Max (if you have established training zones - not everyone will..)
