About

Chair to Stand Test is a good way to assess leg strength and endurance. It tends to be more useful for those above 60 or a little less active, however it can serve as a good benchmark for whoever completes it. This is not a functional capacity test and does not provide information about your cardiovascular fitness - sub maximal functional capacity tests can provide a more detailed look at your fitness levels - this is available on request just send a message to atbgo2018@gmail.com if this is something that is of interest. Even with such a short assessment (30 seconds), please include a short warm-up and cool-down as the video demonstrates.
